Hands-on review: ZVEX Effects Fuzz Probe

So you don't want to bring out a huge hacking pedal board, nor do you want your pedals in a cluttered mess on a stage with who knows what spilled on it? Maybe you have a nice floor and don't want your bass drum or high hat pedal scuffing it up. This is where the Stageworks pedal mats come in handy.

I saw these on the Stageworks website and thought I'd give them a shot. $20 is the cost of two pads. Shipping took at least a week, I believe they ship to the US from the UK.

It is a simple beneficial product. I am a bass player that only needs to bring out a tuner and an overdrive pedal, so it makes sense for me to use this. I am just playing bar gigs, so I do not need much more than a backpack for traveling safety.

I wish these rolled up comfortably. I don't want to bend or damage the product, so I've just been storing it in my amp rack in the original packaging to keep them flat.

Well built. To simulate or bar proof the Stageworks I spilled some coffee on it. I rinsed it off, squeezed the excess water out of the 3 layer mat and let it air dry. Good as new!

Great product. It grips carpet, hardwood and tile floors nicely. It doesn't leave an evidence behind. The pedals grip to it without adhesive so no more tripping over pedals.
